Fendant is a dry white wine from Valais made from the Chasselas grape and is considered the king of Valais white wines.
Johannisberg is the protected name in Valais for the Silvaner grape, also called Gros Rhin. The variety was first mentioned there in 1862 and has been protected since 1966. Today, Johannisberg is produced only from grapes grown in the best vineyards.
In Switzerland, Sauvignon Blanc has been appreciated since the 1980s and prefers cool, well-ventilated vineyard sites. The grape originates from the French Loire Valley and is a natural cross between Traminer and Chenin Blanc. Today it is also cultivated in Valais.
Heida is an ancient white grape variety known as the “Pearl of Alpine wines.” It has been cultivated in Valais since the Middle Ages and is documented there since 1586. In Visperterminen, it grows in some of the highest vineyards in Europe, reaching up to 1150 m above sea level.

Cornalin is one of the oldest red grape varieties of Valais. It was already mentioned in 1313 in the wine register of Anniviers as “Altum Vinum.” The queen of Valais specialties!
This particular Cava is a blend of Macabeo (75%) and Parralleda, and fermentation takes place via 'Methode Champenoise' before being aged in bottle for 16 months prior to release. Light & fresh with aromatic notes of apricot, apple and pear.
