"A one-week skiing holiday in Zermatt in March 2026 at a family-run hotel.
The owners and hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Transport from the hotel to the ski lifts ran smoothly.
The hotel bar offers a wide selection and has its own smoking lounge. The spa underwent a high-quality refurbishment some time ago and is excellent: lovely Finnish and natural saunas, plus a steam room.
The rooms are classically beautiful and cosily furnished. The food at the hotel restaurant or Apas Tapas (also in the hotel) is very good; you’re always given a warm welcome."

"The hotel is in a prime location right in the heart of Zermatt. There is absolutely nothing – and I mean nothing – to fault! Particular mention must be made of the hospitality of the family who run the hotel and the friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff! The outdoor hot tub beneath the ice wall is spectacular and the food is exceptional! It’s now our favourite hotel in Zermatt! We’ll be back!!"
