Cancellation policy to Corona:

We share your passion to travel and we are here for you. Therefore, we have adapted our cancellation conditions for you. This way we enable you to book and also cancel without worries. You will find the applicable cancellation conditions on your personal reservation confirmation. Our hotel and family do their best to ensure that you can spend your holidays healthy and carefree. What is the current situation in Zermatt?

All businesses in Zermatt must follow and fulfil the protection concepts of the federal government. All current information can be found at Zermatt Tourism under the following link Covid-19 in Zermatt

What if the hotel is closed by the canton or the federal government?

Should the entire hotel complex be closed, you can rebook or cancel your reservation free of charge. The cancellation costs incurred are waived by us and are covered 100% by us as a family.

What if I become ill shortly before arrival?

For the sake of your health and the health of others, we ask you to avoid travelling to the hotel and taking the booked holiday. The travel insurance companies have adjusted their conditions this summer and your travel insurance will cover the costs incurred by the hotel. We highly recommend you to make a travel insurance at this stage so that you do not have to cover these costs yourself. Otherwise you will be charged according to the cancellation policy.

What if the cable cars close?

Should the canton or the federal government close the cable cars, we will allow you to cancel. If you have already paid a deposit, we will refund it 100% via voucher. This way you don't lose any money and can book without worries.

What if the restaurants & bars in Zermatt close?

We have three restaurants and a bar in the hotel. Should all the restaurants in Zermatt close, you have the possibility to have your dinner with us at any time. Should the federal government or canton also close the restaurants in the hotels, you can rebook free of charge or the costs incurred will be 100% refunded via voucher. Because we as a family want to give you a relaxing holiday.

What if the SPA area or the swimming pool can no longer be used due to an official order?

If the entire wellness facilities are closed, you can rebook or cancel your reservation free of charge. Any cancellation fees incurred are waived and will be covered by us as a family. The SPA area has its own protection concept. However, reservations for the public areas in the SPA are not necessary.

What if my country ends up on the quarantine list of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (quarantine obligation upon entry) or the borders are closed completely?

Should the borders be closed or you are unable to arrive due to quarantine obligations upon entry, you can rebook or cancel your reservation free of charge. Any cancellation costs incurred will be waived and covered by us as a family.
